She is a tosca redhead side part with lush hair, clean and excellent or better condition. Hair retains the flip style with no re-combing or styling. Some stray hairs that is typical of these early dolls and expected. Even the most mint in box doll has a few. They may show as marks or lines on their face, it is just a stray hair. She is marked on her back Vogue Doll and may have been restrung as the old rubber bands give way which is common and acceptable to the majority of collectors. She has no splits, cracks or repairs to her body. Beautiful blue eyes that generally open and close freely most of the time but may need assistance once in a while. She has good coloring; tosca visible light brows and lashes and nice factory cheek coloring with no scrapes. Brows and lashes were hard to capture in our photos but they are visible in person. Ginny is wearing her untagged very pretty shadow print dress with matching correct shadow print panties. Still retains nice body with no repairs, no stains, no tears or splits in the fabric. Absolutely no darkening or browning that sometimes happens with some of these early organdy fabrics and results in weak fabric and tears; not here. This outfit is in such nice overall condition and panties have great elastic in waist and legs too and appears all original. She wears a nice little stiff slip to help her outfit stand out even more which was not original to her outfit but added and a wonderful copy as an extra. To complete her total look she wears black center snap very good original center snap shoes with no repairs, straps holding fine and working snaps. Her vintage yellow Vogue socks are clean with no damage. She carries her cute little triangular black patent leather purse too. Her wonderful vintage yellow hair bow is held on with a gold tone barrette that was used with these bows. This is and original vintage Vogue bow in her hair and not one of the later made bows from the 1980’s you see being used that are not Vogue factory originals. This doll has everything going for her and more we think, so please take a look at all her photos and see if she isn’t one you might enjoy. What she is not is mint in box or mint untouched, but what she is a very pretty carefully loved and admired and well taken care of strung Ginny Linda that really may be a stand out in your collection.
