Vintage Marcel Breuer Cesca Cantilever Chrome Cane Chair. Chrome metal frame with wood seat and seat back. Seatback and seat have cane inserts. Signs of wear on the seat but a lot of life in this chair. Measurements: 31″H x 19″L x 18.25W. This is a vintage condition, pre-owned item that shows signs of wear. The overall condition is good with minor wear on the seat. The seat has some minor damage to the cane weaving. (See Photos) Item does not come with original box or packaging. First off I wanted to let you know that this folds in very unique way the back of the chair folds down words as the seat goes up in an angle very unique. Which makes this so much extra special Up for sale is one chair i have a total of 3 antique 1920s or 30s wooden folding chair by The Company Storkline Furniture Corp. I acquired these from an estate sale of a gentleman who actually made these chairs. He worked for the company they were handmade personally by him. It is in working condition it might need a little tweaking or tightening up of bolts but otherwise it doesnt shake or rattle too much it is sturdy there are a lot of signs of wear for its age there is missing pieces of wood in the back there are scratches throughout it looks beautiful the way it is.. The most WOW lounge chair ever! Black vinyl, mid century, MCM, retro, space-age, iconic and falls under shell or egg style. So flipping fabulous and maple wood legs that are in excellent condition and Button Tufted Vinyl. The most incredible style! I cannot find a name anywhere on it. A little blemish on one of the front corners as shown, there is a split along the seam that could be repaired, the backside needs more decorative tacks along the edge but this really is in amazing condition with springs! This piece can be dated due to the use of this base typology, as this was just prior to the introduction of the Eames lounge chair and ottoman in 1956.
