An antique Hamberger & Co. 24 bisque head, sleep-eye, Viola doll, early 20th century. The head is in fine condition. The composition body has a bit of cracking above the points where the legs attach to the trunk, and needs attention paid to repairing the attachment of the joints, especially at the shoulders, which don’t hold their positions: Elasticity problems. It is very attractively dressed, with a lace collar over a satin dress, embroidered slip and pantaloons, and patent leather shoes. There are a couple of light stains to the skirt.
