Antique Chandelier French Ormolu Crystal Victorian Large 19th Century Bronze

Antique French Chandelier, 1800s. A large and impressive French Victorian chandelier dating to the 1800s, comprising of ormolu, bronze and crystal drops. The chandelier is an original piece and accommodates six candles. An internal electrification allows the chandelier to be used with light bulbs also. Throughout, scrolled branches and arms issue slender multifaceted crystal drops linked and hung with multi-faceted drops. The base of the chandelier is adorned by further glass drops and is decorated with a crystal ball finial. Due to their high led content, the chandelier makes beautiful colours of the rainbow when the light/ sunlight hits the drops. 54 cm wide x 87 cm high. Overall, the chandelier is in very good condition, considering age and usage. There are no drops missing. Large Ritual Nigerian Ejagham EkoI Crest Mask Sitting On Basketry Cap. Sitting on a basketry cap and meant to be mounted onto the wearers head. There is significant pigment remaining, the basket cap is slightly loose to one side but is original to the head. This is Carved from one solid piece of wood. Pigment applied around eyes with remnants of other material possibly animal skin visible on forehead, top of the head and the neck. This is too human head scale about 35cm high made of a solid piece of dense wood carved abs hollowed out to lower neck, partial stake visible which would have been used to attach to the wearers head. Vintage Edison Element for Primary Glass Battery Ceramic Jar Lid 2 Large Holes

This is an element that went in the Thomas Edison ceramic jar battery. It would just fit in the Edison jar battery that had the ceramic lid with the two large holes. I have seen those lids (very rarely), but have NEVER seen one with an element, let alone a new element. It is item #304332639077. It looks to me like this element is taking advantage of what is called an air cathode. What an air cathode does is takes the outside air and uses it as one of the reactants. The beauty of an air cathode is it never has to be replenished because the air is always around us. Plus, the battery is lighter because it does not have to carry a second reactant around. It just grabs it as it needs it. Check out the pictures. Comes with the original box which is beat up. The element itself is in excellent, like new shape. This is a VERY RARE and unique item. If you are a collector of this kind of thing, you may want to add it to your collection. Or, maybe you have just the jar and lid and would like to make it a complete battery. This painting is very interesting and unique and draws people to it. Very beautiful and calming all at the same time. THIS IS A MASTER PIECE WORK!! SHOULD BE IN A MUSEUM TO SHARE WITH OTHERS! What most people enjoy about this painting is the fact that it lets you speculate What are they thinking? It is not religious or sad or grotesque. We had it cleaned, in 1989, professionally by the Erickson Studio in Santa Barbara and they put a new, old frame and stretcher bars on it. We have loved it every day. Inside canvas is 31 in by 27 in. WONDERFUL Antique/Vintage Large 14 Kt. White Gold & Faceted 10 Ct. Amethyst Ring

Gorgeous antique/vintage designer 14 Kt. White gold large, ornate faceted amethyst ring, size 6, sizable. This ring is 13/16 wide and weighs 7.1 grams. It features a stunning 14 mm, at least 10 carat, beautifully faceted round medium purple amethyst gemstone firmly prong set in an ornate, scalloped hefty white gold setting. This ring is in very good antique/vintage condition with no damage other than very minor surface wear. The amethyst is a particularly nice stone, beautifully faceted with LOTS of sparkle. The setting is highly polished white gold with swooping, cupped scallops framing the stone from below adding an additional dimension of shine to this lovely ring. The head of this ring sits up off of the finger by about 1/2. The shank is thick and hefty and can easily be sized up or down by several sizes. It is stamped 14 Kt. On the interior and has been professionally tested as 14 Kt. The amethyst has been verified by a certified gemologist. Please note: the ring display boxes are NOT included.
