The letters JP Eller scrimshaw engraved looks to be animals engraved scrimshaw. I know not much about it I bought it from an antique dealer in North Carolina. Use it in there civil war reenactments for a long time, until he got a little too old for it he said so decided to sell it to myself. Like it to go to a good home. Has possibly native American scrimshaw a JP Eller I cannot make out The date or looks to be a possible military company.
