The case measures 30 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s a small sized mens watch, or boys sized, and looks great on ladies too). The winding crown is the original twin lock screw down crown with Rolex coronet. It screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no improper tool use. The bracelet (band) is a genuine Rolex “riveted” Oyster link model. The watch will fit up to a 7 wrist without adding links. The dial has never been refinished and it and is very attractively and evenly patinaed. The hands have been relumed somewhat recently. It shows very little to zero “stretch” (gaps between the links) for its age and will give decades of service still. I ONLY SELL AUTHENTIC WATCHES AND MOVEMENTS. This 1959 classic mens Rolex OysterDate Precision is in very nice condition and has a lovely original genuine champagne colored dial with wedge markers. A new black crocodile skin leather strap and stainless Rolex buckle has been fitted, and it comes with the vintage Rolex box as seen in the photographs. Vintage Rolex Oysterdate 6494s are an appreciating Rolex classic luxury watch – with a timeless, elegant and easily recognisable Rolex design. The compelling features of this particular watch include. Great combination dial – original champagne colored dial with wedge markers. Nice overall condition, looks really nice on the wrist. New black crocodile skin leather strap, with new buckle. Comes with genuine vintage Rolex box. MEASUREMENTS: End of lug to end of lug height is 42.5mm, width is 37mm incl. DIAL – the original champagne dial along with its wedge markers is a nice feature of this particular watch. As per photographs the dial is in nice condition overall with very minimal patina. CASE – is stainless steel, and as per photographs shows only very minor age/use related wear/scratches/marks/scuffs but no major damage. Inner case back is Rolex marked, and both the model number and serial number can still be seen on the inside of the case lugs. MOVEMENT – the Rolex 6494s and known for being a robust watch, the movement is manual wind 17 Jewel movement that is currently running at +45s/day on flat with details as per included Timegrapher analysis photograph. Being a Rolex Oyster the crown is screw down so you unscrew the crown to wind it, it has a really nice positive feeling when winding. CROWN – is nice, with the Rolex crown brand marking on it. CRYSTAL – is nice, without any large/noticeable scratches. BOX – is in nice vintage condition. It has a bit of light wear to it, but is still nice overall. There is no interior cushion or stand with the box. STRAP – It has been fitted with a new black genuine crocodile skin leather strap along with a new buckle as per photographs. Changing a strap on this watch is very easy to do, they are designed for changing with convenient holes through the lugs. You could easily change it to one of your taste later if desired, the lugs are 19mm and buckle is 16mm. It is the ULTRA RARE Rolex Oyster Perpetual mens sized SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER grade gold capped stainless steel watch with CAL 1560 movement on a genuine Rolex gold capped bracelet. VINATGE ROLEXES ONLY GO ONE WAY IN PRICE, UP. It has been appreciating in value for decades and will only continue. Model number 1014, serial number ILLEGIBLE c. This Rolex is BEAUTIFUL. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Last week the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1560 movement with hack set sweeping seconds hand was thoroughly inspected, it is running well with a strong beat. At that time watch case, case back, crystal, and bezel were professionally detailed. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s an average sized mens watch for the time period, by today’s standards it would be considered a midsized or unisex watch). There is some wear through of the gold cap, but not bad. The winding crown is its original twin lock screw down Rolex signed crown. The coin edges on the case back show no improper tool use. The band on the watch is a genuine Rolex “riveted” Oyster link gold capped stainless steel bracelet. The bracelet is date coded for 1973, so it is newer that the watch. It is 12 links long and will fit up to a 7.75 wrist without adding links. The dial is the original dial to the watch, never refinished, and very nice for its age. It has a nice even patina with only minor marks. The serial number and model numbers on the watch case are missing. They may have been polished off by a leather band that may have been on the watch at some point, or somebody may have gotten aggressive on a polishing, we don’t know. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. This is a beautiful example of this model. EVERY MAJOR PART ON THIS WATCH IS GENUINE ROLEX.
