Vintage Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates 1426-RO Chair Authentic, Orig. Withtags

This Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates 1426-RO Swivel Chair is authentic and in original, in need of tender loving care condition. As you can see from the photos above, it has its original Craft Associates Tag with the “4114” registry number, which was the Craft Associates Business’s number. As many of you know, Craft Associates hailed from Wilkes-Barre, PA and so you can also see the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania sticker as well. This is an early piece probably dating from around 1956. Pearsall designed a number of swivel chairs, all a little bit different from one other. The earliest, which this is an example of, has a separated back cushion from the seat of the chair. This chair has great bones, but as you can see from the photos, it needs reupholstering, re-foaming and the middle wooden brace has some veneer missing and will need to be either filled-in or replaced. So, this is definitely a project for a professional or perhaps a handy home craftsman. This does retain its original upholstery, while although needing to be replaced, will hopefully serve as a guide for the kinds of fabrics, textures and colors Pearsall used for his pieces. Purple would not be everyone’s choice of color, but imagine how beautiful this chair would be restored using a similar fabric and bold color! The last photo above comes from a Craft Associates catalog and gives the dimensions. When I measured this specific chair, this is what I came up with. Length: 36-38 (The back frame adds a bit to the diameter). Width (Depth): 36-38 (The back frame adds a bit to the diameter). Leg Height: 7-3/8 (4 legs). This chair is being stored in Lancaster, PA. I also have a shipper whom I have used for several years and from whom I can get a quote should you want to consider him as an option as well. Original (& not a Reproduction), 1970s Victorian Revival Clasping Hands Belt made by Bang Bang Belts, Caren Ross. The Hands are the Larger Size, each measures approx. 2 1/2 X 5 1/2 including the grommet. They both have rings on their index fingers, heavy cast metal. Belt is adjustable via snaps & measures 2 wide, measures at smallest 34, at largest 42, adjustable in between these measurements as well. 8 Early Style All Bisque Kestner, Stiff Hips, Wrestler-Beautifull 1880 orig

Early style all-bisque Kestner measuring about 8. Tall with no wig. She has beautiful blue glass paperweight eyes (original set). Appears to have a “1” on lower back of head. Wrestler-like chunky contours of torso, muscular hips, thighs and calves. Well-defined small bosom emphasized by tightly-fitting silk dress. Round face, stiff hips, peg jointed arms (left arm modeled with more bend at elbow than right arm). Her head is made in a position turned to the right. Two-strap bootines, vertically ribbed white stockings. She has dark multi-stroked brows, finely painted lashes, closed mouth, accented nostrils and eye corners, dimpled knees. Dark blonde mohair wig with cloth skull cap and cardboard pate (I don’t know whether it’s vintage or antique). Highest quality bisque in perfect condition with no damage or repairs. Short scratch (mold flaw) on back of neck below the inscribed “1”. Her right eye has a thin vertical crack, which I believe is original to its making. The dress being sewn on I’ve felt through the fabric and I can’t feel any chips or other damage to the body and joints. She wears a flattering custom sewn blue silk dress, with dark blue velvet trimmed shoulders and bow on back of skirt. The bodice of dress is tightly fitting, which emphasizes the contours of her bosom. Fabric is in excellent, sturdy condition, except for stretching damage on upper back. Dress is sewn on, so I won’t attempt to cut it off. Sewn-on antique lace underwear. Thank you for looking. 1959 RARE! VTG #3HEAD #2/3 BODY BARBIE BRUNETTE PT Case 13 OUTFITS ++ORIG OWNER

There is a LOT of stuff in this LOT. I can only upload 12 pictures so message me for more. In particular more photos of Barbie herself-as you can see she looks pretty awesome. Zoom in on the LAST 5 photos and you can read her hand written detailed inventory of EVERYTHING included in this sale, which is in 5 pages of inventory. This is a NUMBER 3 Mattel circa 1959 Barbie, Brunette ponytail hair, poodle bangs and she has a pony tail BUT her mom turned it up into a bun many years ago that has relaxed a bit but I hesitated to undo it. With THAT said, that is the only’flaw’ I can see if you can even call it a flaw. She has most of her nail color, face color looks great, no earring green on ears as she has been stored without earrings on. I think there is only ONE set of pearl earrings in the lot which would explain why she wasn’t wearing any. In a way that is great, it saved the vinyl. Some ebayers have messaged me that this is a’transitional body’ from the #2 doll, with a # 3 head– that the factory used previous parts in subsequent years. Others say there were the same exact body except for the foot, from #1 to #3. This particular doll is. Completely original, no changes made by owner. As this is a big ticket item I want buyers to know what they are getting with NO issues, so bear with us, this listing is a bit wordy. ONE 1959 # 3 Brunette Barbie DOLL in BLACK AND WHITE bathing suit appropriate shoes, white sunglasses, one pearl earring (missing the other pearl earring) in Excellent condition. 2 Additional striped Bathing suits, ONE B/W and one RED/W and a 4th Coral bathing suit– part of outfit #923. 1 Original Barbie black vinyl case with handle and inside with drawer to hold accessories PLUS hangers for outfits and some extra hangers. 1 box of shoes, small accessories for outfits. 1 drawer- part of the original case holding all of her other accessories. THREE ORIGINAL Barbie / Ken Pink catalog Booklets showcasing various outfits/prices, (one booklet clean of marks, the other two marked by owner). ONE insert 45 Record advertisement (no record). 13 Official Numbered Outfits as seen in the booklets. The accessories etc are in little boxes as I do NOT want to misplace any, only some were in the photos. Anything missing from each outfit is mentioned in the inventory pages. Of the 13 numbered Outfits, 4 appear complete, the other 9 are missing an item or two maybe. Needed to complete the 13 catalog outfits are: one pearl earring, the stud type, plus another pair of the same although not really necessary as they can be used for either outfits, One little wax apple, one little handheld plastic vanity mirror, one soda straw, one bowl with yarn and knitting needles, one pearl drop necklace. IN addition there are some Barbie labeled items in this lot that are not part of outfits- dark’Apple’ patterned sheath dress as used in the Easter Parade outfit not in the 1961 catalog as well as several extra shoes (4 prs plus some singles), a silver purse, long gloves and a belt. NOTE the BLACK SUNGLASSES listed by owner as missing/parts for #923 coral bathing suit outfit had one arm re attached. NOTE the White Straw Hat listed as missing by owner for #986 Sheath Sensation is in fact in the accessories box. IN addition: SEVERAL additional misc’mystery’ outfits m. Ade by her mom, a seamstress-such as red wool coat/fur collar, Red Flapper style fringed dress. Some -like the gold lame pants and top and the other two pc pants outfit, unlabeled store bought. A total of 5 Other OUTFITS and misc items like fur stole and a piece of white rabbit fur collar. Condition of the clothing excellent, some things look like new. RE Messages pro and con of the idea of’TRANSITIONAL #2 body #3 head Barbie, there has been a lot of feedback from Barbie folks. (I did recently learn that it was not until the #3 was the the option of Brown eyeshadow on some dolls as well as blue). THIS doll body had JAPAN in a box on foot AND has nipples–Debated topics but definitely desirable details. So whether there was such a thing as a transitional body, the first three Barbie dolls had nipples. Other experts argue that the only thing distinguishing the #1 body from all the rest– The HOLES on the bottom of the feet with copper tubes for the stand. This is not an inexpensive LOT so we want to represent it honestly AND accurately as possible, so I appreciate ALL YOU WATCHERS understanding and putting up with a bit of confusion as we have been quite inundated with information about this unusual but wonderful doll! ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1959 PONYTAIL BARBIE. Includes Original TM Box, Swimsuit, Shoes, Sunglasses, Booklet. And Reproduction Stand and Flex-Leg Insert. Up for sale is beautiful #1 Ponytail Barbie with original face, finger and toenail paint. She has very pretty, delicate features; not harsh looking at all. Her original face, finger and toenail paint is in nice condition. The end of her right eyebrow is fainter than the left, and she has a tiny dot on her forehead. Her body has paled very evenly to a nice color, but she does have a few blotches on the back of her legs, and the back of her right leg has some bumps, like a mold flaw. She has both tubes in her feet; the one on her left food is protruding a little which makes that shoe difficult to get on. But leaving shoes on causes staining on feet. Her hair looks like it’s in its original top-knot, but the ponytail had been put into a braid which I could tell was not original, so I took it out. She is missing a plug at the base of the left side of the back of her neck. She has great bangs. She will come with original items including a T. Box which is in rough condition, swimsuit, open toed sandals, sunglasses (one broken arm), and booklet. She will also come with a repro stand and flex-leg insert. #1 blonde Ponytail Barbie With Original box. She has been fully alcohol tested, eyes, brows and lips. All make up looks to be original. She does not have eyelash ridge rubs, that is just a reflection. She has beautiful thick long hair and really soft full bangs. Her head and body have retained lots of color and match perfectly. She her original top knot, which is VERY hard to find. There are NO neck splits , nose nip or green ear. Her feet have shoe stains. She has the appropriate T. M butt markings for a number one Barbie. She has Japan in the rare older square box on her heel rather than the later vertical markings. Her box is excellent and is Marked with the appropriate hair color, the the box has some discoloration. 1981 Gibson Moderne Korina 1958 Original Reissue + ORIG Hard Case. Lovies guitars is offering up a gorgeous and Rare 1981 Vintage Gibson 1958 Moderne Kornia guitar! The guitar was played very little in 80s and was put in the case unlil last year. This guitar is in excellent. Just some very light marks and light scratching. One small ding on the tip of headstock and the Gibosn logo has a small crack as they all do. Probabably the coolest Gibson to come out of the 80s! The guitar sounds absolutely incredible! This guitar has an amazing feel and is quick to bond with! It is an absolute beauty, rare Tim Shaw HBs, and gorgeous color with a perfect set-up ready to play! No breaks, cracks or repairs. Minimal fretware on a perfect neck! SEE many images below!! This guitar has never been modified. All solder joints are untouched and clean. More pics on our site. WEIGHS in at: 7.3 lbs. 845 at the 1st Fret. 945 at the 12th Fret. All guitars are fully insured and we will deal with it. In the vintage guitar world, the Gibson Moderne is the ultimate maddening mystery the Holy Grail, El Dorado, the Unicorn etc. It was designed along with the Flying V and Explorer as part of Gibsons Modernistic series in 1957 in order to shake up Gibsons stodgy image. The V and Explorer made it into production, but the Moderne seemingly never saw the light of day, until Gibson saw fit to finally issue a limited run in 1982 and 1983. To this day, not a single 57 Moderne has ever been verified as original by anyone, although there have been forgeries, copies, and more false sightings than one could imagine. Legendary guitar historian George Gruhn is quoted: I have never encountered any original Moderne guitar made prior to their so-called reissue in the early 1980s, nor have I ever had a conversation with anyone who claimed [to me] to have seen one. I have significant doubts that they were ever made. If youve never seen a Moderne, its an extremely unique design thats impossible to ignore. The upper side of the body resembles a Flying V or a shark fin, while the smaller lower side looks like an old-style can opener or a fish hook. It is a radical shape even today, so one can only imagine how it must have appeared in the conservative Eisenhower era all those years ago. The headstock was shaped like a widened boat paddle, with four string guides, and often referred to as the Gumby headstock. This Moderne is one of the very few (143 total) made by Gibson in 1982 and 1983, referred to as the Moderne Heritage model. And its in great original condition. There is some cosmetic player wear on the body as you would expect. There is hardly a mark on the neck, headstock or fingerboard. The lacquer has been worn through on part of the upper body bout see pics. But this Moderne has been well looked after by a fastidious owner who bought it in Sydney 20 years ago, and its hardly been played since. It has no structural or other issues and has resided in its original Gibson Moderne case ever since. It plays beautifully sleek, low action with no string buzz anywhere. A wide string spacing at the nut, the 12 radius fretboard and 22 Gibson jumbo frets add up to a very comfortable playing experience. And this thing sounds the business 2 killer gold humbucker pickups, each with its own volume control and a master tone control. I have periodically reduced prices. PLEASE – tell me your concerns? Wonderful gift for Christmas or ANY surprise! GREAT looking 60 year old gal w/a Bombshell body & looks to match! 1st 1959 VINTAGE BLOND PONYTAIL BARBIE #850. Barbie , Box, Stand, Booklet, Swimsuit, Sunglasses, Earrings, Open-toe High-Heels w/HOLES. Now, this is going to break my heart. When I was a little girl in the late 50’s, m. Y friend got a’Barbie’ & it had holes in the feet for it to stand up. I always remembered HER Barbie & my friend felt’she was special’… Twenty-five yrs later when I got into antiquing, I started seeing Barbies everywhere & realized how popular she had become. I had no daughters, no granddaughters, so I started picking up some (alot) that I liked. One day, I saw one in a case & asked to see her. Alas, she had HOLES in her feet! It was then that I was given a Barbie 101 tutorial. I was on the hunt for a’perfect’ 1st Barbie! Halfway thru my life back then, I had found her & fell in love. She came from quite a well-known Barbie dealer (who is still around) who I trusted. She was promised to me as having one owner, complete, ALL original, had been packed away & really not played with. I paid dearly – I had WANTED one for sooo long & I finally found an amazing one! Husband is gone, kids grown, no girls… Time to move on. She has been safely packed away all those decades Thought – I’ll get her out when the granddaughters come along… God bless you all! I bought what I liked w/quality in mind. I will describe the best I can & show pics. I have always been honest. 1st 1959 VINTAGE BLOND PONYTAIL BARBIE. BARBIE herself is gorgeous. Her color is not ivory or pale. She has a beautiful cream color – better than I can probably photograph. A little deeper where the swimsuit is. Olid, tight joints, nothing loose. Very tiny factory blemish (birthmark) on upper left arm as shown. Two pintip dots, one on left front leg above knee & other on left back leg below butt – barely seen. No stains, no abuses. Hair – Her blond ponytail hair appears NOT to have been redone or cut. Still has original topknot & beautiful, uncombed, poodle bangs. Bottom of her uncombed blond ponytail has her original plastic band, but sadly, is disintegrating (after 60 years). Face – perfect, creamy, uniform color. Eyes are side-glancing w/white irises, thick black eyeliner w/blue liner above. Her eyebrows are very prominently arched. Original goldtone hoop earrings w/ NO green ears! Ruby red lipstick matches her manicured finger & toe nails. Left tush, has a number 27. Right tush, Barbie – PATS PEND – C (inside a circle) MCMLVIII – BY – MATTEL – INC. Feet – They have the usual stains. From her black, open-toe, high-heels w/a hole in each. Ottom of right one is marked w/. Which I was told was an early mark? Left one appears to partially say JAPAN. Hole in each foot that have metal rods totally inside both feet which fit perfectly over the raised prongs of her circular, black, plastic stand. There is a tiny tear by one opening, on bottom of FOOT, but it does not inhibit. From standing solidly on her. At all (No wobble). Stand – No issues, no chips – prongs are solid & steadfast. Marked on top – Barbie TM – BY MATTEL. Marked on bottom – JAPAN – MATTEL – M (LOGO) – INTERNATIONAL R (inside a circle). Swimsuit – Dressed in her one-piece, black & white, zebra-striped, strapless swimsuit. Sunglasses – She has her 1950’s white, cats-eye, slanted, Hollywood-style sunglasses w/blue lenses – still tight & intact. Booklet – Complete, no bends, no dogears, minor cover rubbing, lays flat. Same markings as butt & stand then, PRINTED IN JAPAN. Box – Really nice CLEAN, solid, sturdy box. Colors are sharp & bright, no fading. No dents or scratches. Top has a verrry faint, superficial, tight’moosch’ on the front (as shown) that doesn’t fall thru to the inside – you really have to look to make it out. All edges & corners are sharp & tight except one edge on the bottom (as shown) that has some splitting, but not apart, it is still tight & firm. ALL advertising as seen plus – Stock No 850 – BLOND – JAPAN. Cost – Also marked in black on the end of box – 3 & two smaller oo to its upper right which is how we used to write it W-A-Y back! I have been asked about her nose – under a 10X loupe, it looks like a very, very tiny indentation like it was bumped? If that indicates anything, I wish someone could tell me. Stand is old w/some faint spottiness, no cracks, no splits, no scratches – prongs are original & have very slight wear as any metal would have after 60 yrs, but fit & match her feet perfectly as stated. It is the Rolex Oyster Perpetual stainless steel mens/boys/womans sized (mid sized) watch in EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION with a nicely aged original dial and “riveted” Oyster link bracelet. VINTAGE ROLEXES ONLY GO ONE WAY IN PRICE, UP. It a very nice example of this model and has been appreciating in value for decades and will only continue. Model number 6548, serial number 231xxx c. This Rolex is BEAUTIFUL. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Last week the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1130 movement with sweeping seconds hand was fully inspected, it is running perfectly. At that time the watch case, case back, crystal, bracelet and bezel were professionally polished and satin refinshed leaving the watch looking VERY NICE. The case measures 30 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s a small sized mens watch, or boys sized, and looks great on ladies too). The winding crown is the original twin lock screw down crown with Rolex coronet. It screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no improper tool use. The bracelet (band) is a genuine Rolex “riveted” Oyster link model. The watch will fit up to a 7 wrist without adding links. The dial has never been refinished and it and is very attractively and evenly patinaed. The hands have been relumed somewhat recently. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. This is a beautiful example of this model. EVERY MAJOR PART ON THIS WATCH IS GENUINE ROLEX.
