Reference number 1005 Circa 1973. 100% Genuine Rolex with Caliber 1570 Swiss Automatic Movement, Officially Certified Chronometer. This Vintage Classic was just freshly Serviced by a master Watch maker with a full Overhaul and sporting squeaky new gaskets. The Genuine 14KT Solid Gold Watch case has never been polished and is in excellent condition with just minor scuffing and signs of light wear. The Original & limited Silver Brick Watch Dial has been left untouched with all Lume Dots/Markers still intact and sphere-like, still originally positioned on top of the Gold Baton Markers. This Exquisite Time Piece will come with 2 watch Bracelets. The first bracelet was carefully matched & fitted with a high quality after market gold plated oyster bracelet that I wear around with. The second bracelet is the Original 14 K Gold Filled Riveted Oyster (Expandable) Bracelet with 12 links. It does show signs of wear with light flaking of the rolled gold on the underside of the bracelet. I ONLY SELL AUTHENTIC WATCHES AND MOVEMENTS. This 1959 classic mens Rolex OysterDate Precision is in very nice condition and has a lovely original genuine champagne colored dial with wedge markers. A new black crocodile skin leather strap and stainless Rolex buckle has been fitted, and it comes with the vintage Rolex box as seen in the photographs. Vintage Rolex Oysterdate 6494s are an appreciating Rolex classic luxury watch – with a timeless, elegant and easily recognisable Rolex design. The compelling features of this particular watch include. Great combination dial – original champagne colored dial with wedge markers. Nice overall condition, looks really nice on the wrist. New black crocodile skin leather strap, with new buckle. Comes with genuine vintage Rolex box. MEASUREMENTS: End of lug to end of lug height is 42.5mm, width is 37mm incl. DIAL – the original champagne dial along with its wedge markers is a nice feature of this particular watch. As per photographs the dial is in nice condition overall with very minimal patina. CASE – is stainless steel, and as per photographs shows only very minor age/use related wear/scratches/marks/scuffs but no major damage. Inner case back is Rolex marked, and both the model number and serial number can still be seen on the inside of the case lugs. MOVEMENT – the Rolex 6494s and known for being a robust watch, the movement is manual wind 17 Jewel movement that is currently running at +45s/day on flat with details as per included Timegrapher analysis photograph. Being a Rolex Oyster the crown is screw down so you unscrew the crown to wind it, it has a really nice positive feeling when winding. CROWN – is nice, with the Rolex crown brand marking on it. CRYSTAL – is nice, without any large/noticeable scratches. BOX – is in nice vintage condition. It has a bit of light wear to it, but is still nice overall. There is no interior cushion or stand with the box. STRAP – It has been fitted with a new black genuine crocodile skin leather strap along with a new buckle as per photographs. Changing a strap on this watch is very easy to do, they are designed for changing with convenient holes through the lugs. You could easily change it to one of your taste later if desired, the lugs are 19mm and buckle is 16mm. As per as all vintage watches, no guarantee on its operation or timekeeping can be given and Id recommend you have it serviced after you receive it so it can give you many more years of worry free service (and things like its water resistance can be re-checked). I ONLY SELL AUTHENTIC WATCHES AND MOVEMENTS. This 1959 classic mens Rolex OysterDate Precision is in very nice condition and has a lovely original genuine champagne colored dial with wedge markers. A new black crocodile skin leather strap and stainless Rolex buckle has been fitted, and it comes with the vintage Rolex box as seen in the photographs. Vintage Rolex Oysterdate 6494s are an appreciating Rolex classic luxury watch – with a timeless, elegant and easily recognisable Rolex design. The compelling features of this particular watch include. Great combination dial – original champagne colored dial with wedge markers. Nice overall condition, looks really nice on the wrist. New black crocodile skin leather strap, with new buckle. Comes with genuine vintage Rolex box. MEASUREMENTS: End of lug to end of lug height is 42.5mm, width is 37mm incl. DIAL – the original champagne dial along with its wedge markers is a nice feature of this particular watch. As per photographs the dial is in nice condition overall with very minimal patina. CASE – is stainless steel, and as per photographs shows only very minor age/use related wear/scratches/marks/scuffs but no major damage. Inner case back is Rolex marked, and both the model number and serial number can still be seen on the inside of the case lugs. MOVEMENT – the Rolex 6494s and known for being a robust watch, the movement is manual wind 17 Jewel movement that is currently running at +45s/day on flat with details as per included Timegrapher analysis photograph. Being a Rolex Oyster the crown is screw down so you unscrew the crown to wind it, it has a really nice positive feeling when winding. CROWN – is nice, with the Rolex crown brand marking on it. CRYSTAL – is nice, without any large/noticeable scratches. BOX – is in nice vintage condition. It has a bit of light wear to it, but is still nice overall. There is no interior cushion or stand with the box. STRAP – It has been fitted with a new black genuine crocodile skin leather strap along with a new buckle as per photographs. Changing a strap on this watch is very easy to do, they are designed for changing with convenient holes through the lugs. You could easily change it to one of your taste later if desired, the lugs are 19mm and buckle is 16mm. As per as all vintage watches, no guarantee on its operation or timekeeping can be given and Id recommend you have it serviced after you receive it so it can give you many more years of worry free service (and things like its water resistance can be re-checked). Last week the Rolex signed cal 1570 movement with sweeping seconds hand and date calendar was thoroughly inspected and is running as it should. At that time the case and bracelet were professionally polished and satin refinished to remove all dings and scratches. The case measures 36 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s an average sized men’s watch for the time period). The winding crown is a genuine Rolex twin lock screw down crown with Rolex coronet. It screws down nice and tight. The coin edges on the case back show no slipped tool use. The dial is original (has not been refinished) and is very nice for its age, it does show some age marks, see photos they are larger than life and the watch looks better in person. The bracelet is a solid 14k yellow gold and stainless steel vintage “oval” Jubilee link bracelet which is very nice for it’s age, showing typical “stretch” between the links and still has half of it’s life left in it.
