The most WOW lounge chair ever! Black vinyl, mid century, MCM, retro, space-age, iconic and falls under shell or egg style. So flipping fabulous and maple wood legs that are in excellent condition and Button Tufted Vinyl. The most incredible style! I cannot find a name anywhere on it. A little blemish on one of the front corners as shown, there is a split along the seam that could be repaired, the backside needs more decorative tacks along the edge but this really is in amazing condition with springs! One of a kind find! Nice large lounge chair. 31 inches tall by 40 inches long by 32 inches deep. It weighs approximately 65 pounds. Listed for sale is a super rare and original Eames for Herman Miller 1955 PSC chair with wire top and 671 (Eames ottoman variant) pedestal contract base. This piece can be dated due to the use of this base typology, as this was just prior to the introduction of the Eames lounge chair and ottoman in 1956. The example for sale has a lovely patina with some wear and signs of use. There are a few imperfections to the wire, seemingly from light spot weld repairs. Available for immediate sale is this very fine but used Eames swivel shell chair. Needless to say, that didn’t happen and now it is time to let this wonderful piece go. This is an authentic Herman Miller Shell Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames. This particular piece has a woven baby blue upholstery, off white shell, and adjustable swivel base. I’ve seen these go for as much as 500.00 sometimes more. I’m pricing this piece to sell. 250.00obo takes it. It will need some TLC, but can be a great vintage piece. FYI, there are the usual age marks on this chair such as stains and marks on the fiberglass. This will likely need to be reupholstered. The swivel base seems a little wobbly. Pair of Vintage Mid Century Modern American Made Fiberglass Shell Armchairs by Krueger in the Herman Miller Eames Style. 31.5″ H , 25.5″ W, 22.5 D. Condition: Item is in very good vintage condition being structurally sound and sturdy and free of breaks or repairs with light signs of normal age appropriate use as pictured. One of the orange vinyl cushions has a tear as pictured in Image #13 and some rust on the feet in image #7. Additional images embedded within item description, please review all images below. Vintage 2nd Generation Charles Eames Herman Miller Eiffel Tower Shell Chair. Dimensions – 30.5″ tall x 25″ wide arms x 23″ deep x 17″ seat height. Vintage large shock mount fiberglass shell (no rope edge) with vintage Eiffel Tower base. The fiberglass is in good condition, there are no drill holes or issues. The base has minors scuffs and light rust. There are no broken welds. I have 3 vintage eiffel tower bases available in separate auctions. Check out all my Mid Century Modern auctions!
