ORIGINAL LEVIS #1 BUCKLE BACK DENIM JACKET from the 1940’s. This is a Type 1 506xx Levi’s Jacket with One Pocket and a Belt on back (Buckle Back). It has a one-sided LEVIS “big E” tag on the pocket which makes this jacket pre-war. This jacket is used but still in great condition for its age. Good character and coloring (blue indigo denim). Vintage 1940’s 1950’s Harley Davidson Horsehide Leather Biker Jacket Sz 38 SWEET

For sale here is a great looking Vintage Harley Davidson Horsehide Biker Jacket From the 1940’s. The maker’s label is missing, but i did find an exact match that had a Harley Davidson Tag in the collar. This is an amazing jacket. The Horsehide is supple and solid, but is stiff as a material. Age hasn’t bothered the flexibility at all. The jacket is finished in black and has a red satin quilted liner. All of the zippers are Talon and are fully functional, though the tab takes some jiggling to start. I wiped the dust and a bit of mildew off, but didn’t do anything else to it. The jacket shows wear, age, light fading, and a few spics of dried paint, but really is in amazing condition. You could go for a full cleaning, or wear it just like it is. The liner shows similar wear, but is in great condition. The snaps are all in amazing condition and are Scovill marked. The Talon Zipper pulls all show patina. The chrome buckle is unmarked, and does show some light surface rust, especially to the back. There is a small spot of seam separation on the back side of the belt that isn’t noticeable and doesn’t create an issue in function. The armpits have multiple grommets. There are 4 dot silver prong back pins on the epaulettes and around each pocket. There is a tag in the collar that is marked Genuine Front Quarter Horsehide Leather, and there is a size tag of 38. Unfortunately, the Harley Davidson Tag is missing, but there are some stitch holes where it was. There is a cloth Union Made tag in the right side, and there is an illegible Processed W. Tag behind it in the right side. The exterior of the jacket has a very light old leather smell and the inside of the jacket has a light old smell. This is a small jacket. ANTIQUE HIGH VICTORIAN BUSTLE EVENING OVER-DRESS /JACKET c. 1868- 1874

Exciting original lady’s Evening overdress. From the late 1860s. One might more properly call it a jacket or a tunic with the last being most appropriate I think. It has no waistband, so it isn’t a proper overdress, but it is clearly intended to be belted, making it not exactly a jacket. Made of cotton net with silk lace, this splendid tunic displays an ingenuity not often found. Though lace jackets and net fichus can be found from earlier in the 1860s, this particular style is rare indeed. It is designed to be worn over a simple underdress, either as its own ensemble or over an evening dress for dinner or another less formal evening function. It might also have been worn as a summer day ensemble. As was fashionable in the early bustle period, the back is shorter than the front to simulate a tablier or apron effect on the front of the skirt. The back is then shorter to rest on the tournure or bustle. It is shown here as it might have been worn, closed at the throat with a brooch and clasped at the waist with a belt. I have also shown it without either. These fantastic dessert-like confections of net and lace helped extend a lady’s wardrobe by giving new life to an old dress or just a new look to a simpler ensemble. Condition: There may be a couple of pin holes in the lace or net which can be easily ignored or repaired to be indistinguishable. The bust measures 34 inches, The waist measures 24. For sale here is a great looking 1960s OshKosh Sanforized Denim Work Jacket. The jacket is in excellent lightly worn condition with some soiling but no major issues. The jacket features brass OshKosh clover leaf buttons. Each cuff has one button, the right breast pocket features one snap button, and the front has a five button closure. The collar is faced in thin blue corduroy. The inside of the jacket is lined in striped wool flannel. The exterior tag is great but the interior tag shows some fading.
