There is a silk blouse, silk skirt, and matching cotton underskirt. The under skirt has no closures left and is longer in the back than in the front. The silk blouse and skirt are adorned with handmade lace. There are very few condition issues in all pieces. The weakest part is the center front top of the skirt, there are some holes there that need attention. There is no label in any of these pieces. The top portion of the blouse where there is sheer silk and horizontal stitch pleats also has issues. The silk skirt is a few layers, the undermost layer is fragile and about 85% intact. 39 length in front, longer in the back. 30 inch waist (no closures left). Delicate and sheer vintage 1970s ivory/off white Gunne Sax maxi dress. High lace collar and ruffles across the chest and hem. Semi sheet net fabric on long sleeves with lace cuffs. Absolutely stunning rare piece that would make a beautiful wedding dress. Please note the Gunne Sax label was cut out so there is no label, and there is no size or fabric tags. An online search will show that this is authentic Gunne Sax. Depending on your height, this dress can be a long midi or floor length. Buttons up the back and has an elastic waist. Antique Victorian to Edwardian women’s Irish lace off white 3/4 sleeve blouse or top. The blouse has a high neck with fabric covered boning to keep it upright. The front of the blouse is sewn together down the front with a large oval floral embroidered insert framed with other types of lace. The bottom has an unfinished edge looks like it may have been cut from a dress or shortened at some point. It is entirely lined with a tissue paper thin matching silk fabric but although it is mostly intact there are a few holes and tears in this. It has been doubled up or repaired in some areas especially under the arms. The lining continues through the sleeves which stops at the cuffs which are a different pattern of lace. The bottom edge of the lining is handsewn to a cotton band. Has been thoroughly cleaned by soaking it overnight in a specialized wash to remove dirt, yellowing, odors and stains. Has some condition issues and is quite delicate. There are some breaks in the lace and several repairs made around the collar area. Waist: 24 (bottom of the inside silk lining). Arm Hole: 8 wide. Edwardian 1900’s La Reine Corset – Old Stock In A Box. Boned ivory cotton corset. Amazing detail and construction. Four original stocking garters fully intact (some elasticity is lost) with ornate metal buckles. Came without lacing, lacing included and shown is from a later period (1940s). Brand: La Reine Queen. Size: marked size 22. Measuring when completely laced up at he smallest. The lacing allows for a range of sizing up from the original measurements. 18 long along the lacing grommet side and 14 along the front closure. Condition: never worn/used dead stock in original box. Beautiful condition with only issues to note is some light age discoloration and a areas of pin sized rust spots. There are pencil written 6 that I think are markings of the original corset maker AMAZING! Thank you for your interest. EDWARDIAN BLUE COTTON LONG DAY DRESS W LACE AND NET TRIMS. DATING TO THE EDWARDIAN TEENS. FASHIONED OF BLUE COTTON WITH A BLACK AND WHITE FLECK PATTERN. FULL BUST WITH A NARROW WAIST, CLOSES IN THE REAR WITH HOOK AND EYE CLOSURES, SOME ARE MISSING. LACE INSERTS IN BANDS THRU THE SLEEVE WITH THE BOTTOM SLEEVES IN NET RUFFLES. TWO PLEATS TO THE SKIRTING. THE COLLAR WAS ONCE ROUND, A CUT WAS MADE TO MAKE IT A V WITH THE SIDES FOLDED IN, THE STITCHES WERE REMOVED AND COULD BE RESTITCHED EITHER WAY. TULLE TRIMS THE NECKLINE.
