1950’s Harmony H-44 Stratotone Guitar Copper with Original Case H44 Vintage

This listing is for a Vintage 1950’s Harmony H-44 Stratotone Electric Guitar. These Harmony H-44 are very cool guitars. This one is from the mid 1950’s and is all original and comes as pictured with the original case. These guitar have a neck through design and a large fat neck profile. They unfortunately do not have adjustable truss rods and almost all of them have somewhat high action. This one is no exception and while it plays well and sounds very good, please don’t expect the guitar to play like a Custom Shop Les Paul. That said, even with the higher action this one plays quite well and sounds good. The guitar shows wear consistent with it’s age. The copper finish has oxidized on the back of the neck and sides of the guitar and shows a cool greenish color. Vintage Willcox and Gibbs Sewing Machine with Foot Floor Control & Carrying Case

Vintage Willcox and Gibbs Sewing Machine w/ Foot Floor Control & Carrying Case. Made in Late 1800s. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself! Older Willcox & Gibbs sewing machine here. Last patent date on the plate on this one is August 1894. The serial number on the machine is “306745 E1″, so would make this machine as having been produced in???? . Also has the number 5286 on the front of the machine. Great stenciling left on this machine. The silver colored plate with all the engraved wording on it is in place. Some minor tarnishing to the nickel plate’s finish. The screen on silver plate that would hold the thread spool is there. The gold label is still affixed in place on the base of the Willcox machine as well. The pieces all move when the side wheel is turned by hand. This unit has an electric foot operator. The sewing machine does run when plugged into an electrical source, but not when directly plugged into the foot operator. Some blue sparking by the armature, so the motor does need a good cleaning. The wood case is in good condition. No splits or cracks to the wood. Brass protectors in place in the corners. The brass latch works as well. The sewing machine is 10″ tall, by 16-1/8″ across, by 6 wide. The sewing machine case is 11-7/8″ tall by 22-5/8″ across, by 7.5 wide. Vintage 1962 Gibson Les Paul SG Custom White 1960’s with Original Case

This is a real Gibson Les Paul SG Custom and was made in the USA in circa 1962. The pots actually date to 1960 but the serial number is from 1962. The pickups in this guitar are unfortunately not the original PAF pickups. They gold pickups covers matches the original 1962 hardware nicely. Aside from the pickups all the other parts are original including gold patent pending Grover tuners, No Wire ABR-1 gold bridge, gold side-pull vibrato tailpiece. The wiring harness is all original and the pots date to the 45th week of 1960. The guitar has the original white finish and has yellowed nicely and looks really vibey. There is a long finish crack running down the back of the neck. I have had numerous techs look at this and the crack only goes as deep as the finish. The crack does not extend into the wood and the neck has not been broken or repaired. Because the crack is only in the finish there is really ins’t anything to repair and it would require the original finish removed and the guitar to be oversprayed to be worked on. I have elected to leave it alone because it doesn’t affect the playability and I didn’t want the neck to look oversprayed. The guitar has been professionally set up and plays great. The frets are the original fretless wonder frets and feel great. The guitar shows typical nicks, dings and scratches. There is typical finish checking along the sides of the fretboard and there is one ding on the side that a previous owner did some touch up on with, see pics. Vintage 1964 Hofner Verithin Red Bigsby Electric Guitar w/ Original Case Hessey. This is a true piece of history here. Bought new in 1964 by the previous owner from Frank Hessey’s – Beatles local music store – in Liverpool. This is the rarer factory Bigsby version of this classic Hofner guitar. It is in lovely condition, with a few dings throughout, most notably the back of the neck. The strap button is currently just a screw, as you can see, and there are a few marks in the fretboard too. I love this guitar, it’s full of character and a heck of a lot of history. You’ll not be disappointed!
