Real 1920s Lingerie Silk Chiffon Embroidered Ruffle Panty Bloomers Pantaloons

We list new items frequently. Antique 1920s sheer cream chiffon silk ruffle bloomer panty pantaloons with pastel embroidery. These antique 1920s pantaloons are made of a sheer cream colored silk chiffon fabric. They have rows of ruffles across them in groupings of three. In the spaces between the ruffles there is pastel colored embroidery. The embroidery is a green wavy line with lavender, baby blue, pale pink, and peach colored ovals alternating along it. The embroidery looks like pastel flower buds along a stem. The embroidery is in great condition with no loose or broken threads. There is an opening on the side with a hook and eye at the top. There is a mesh tulle waistband with elastic in it. These pantaloons are in great condition for their age. There are some rips along the waistline. The elastic in the waistband is crunchy and stretched out and in need of replacement. There is some staining throughout, especially along the side opening and along the waistband. 1940s Christian Dior New Look Formal Evening Dress Designer Black Silk LBD 1950s. What an extraordinary dress! Strapless style is pleated and gathered around the central button panel creating beautiful draping around the hips. The front of the skirt gives an illusion of being a wiggle dress, with the back draping like a small train, but the skirt is completely full. The interior of the bodice has an attached underpinning with boning and mesh support. The interior of the skirt has a silk lining. Please be aware that this dress is quite small, it does not fit any of our dress forms or mannequins. The dress form shown has a bust of 32.5″ and a waist of 24.5″. Condition Details: Very Good – There is a small, slightly lighter, spot on the back of the skirt, wearer’s left. It is below the zipper, about 3 to the left of the center seam. It is very subtle and hides in the skirt well. The silk lining in the skirt is tearing and shattering. The original lining should be left intact if purchasing for a collection, but should be replaced if you are purchasing it to wear. We will leave this decision to the new owner. There is only one hanging strap remaining and it is broken and has been tied in a knot. These issues are minor and not obvious when worn. This dress presents beautifully! Antique Victorian to Edwardian Off White Irish Lace Silk Lined Women’s Blouse

Antique Victorian to Edwardian women’s Irish lace off white 3/4 sleeve blouse or top. The blouse has a high neck with fabric covered boning to keep it upright. The front of the blouse is sewn together down the front with a large oval floral embroidered insert framed with other types of lace. The bottom has an unfinished edge looks like it may have been cut from a dress or shortened at some point. It is entirely lined with a tissue paper thin matching silk fabric but although it is mostly intact there are a few holes and tears in this. It has been doubled up or repaired in some areas especially under the arms. The lining continues through the sleeves which stops at the cuffs which are a different pattern of lace. The bottom edge of the lining is handsewn to a cotton band. Has been thoroughly cleaned by soaking it overnight in a specialized wash to remove dirt, yellowing, odors and stains. Has some condition issues and is quite delicate. There are some breaks in the lace and several repairs made around the collar area. Waist: 24 (bottom of the inside silk lining). Arm Hole: 8 wide. 1930’s Vintage Silk Satin Wedding Gown Dress EdwardianJuliet Sleeves

This is a gorgeous vintage wedding gown. I think from the 1930’s, although it is done in sort of a Marie Antoinette era style. The fabric is silk satin, in ivory white. This is in excellent condition for age and type of item. No holes, but there are a number of faint, stains , maybe water or champagne. Also, underarm perspiration marks, mostly noticeable on one side. The dress buttons in back, and has a number of hooks and snaps below waist. The Cuffs have buttons as well, three are missing from one side. The sleeves have a balloon detail at elbow, and lace at the wrist. Lots of fancy details, with has a long train in back, a sort of bustle and also sort of fringe done in rolled satin. Super sweet, and beautiful dress. Bust – 36. From shoulder to bottom of waistline – 15.5. Shoulder seam to seam – 14.5. Sleeves – 23 counting the lace. Length in back – 96.
