This is the best one we’ve had so far, with 12 pie shaped drawers and locking mechanism working on both high and lower levels. Original beveled glass front doors, original mirrored back glass. C1895 antique OAK & GLASS APOTHECARY cabinetry 72′ long x 8′ high Nebraska

72 LINEAR feet of circa 1895 oak APOTHECARY store cabinetry. From a drug store in Nebraska – for the last 20-25 years has been used in an antique store in western Iowa. IMPRESSIVE find with so many linear feet of antique cabinetry. Cabinets are 8′ tall – with multiple sliding glass doors and numerous small apothecary drawers. The back of the cabinets have some pencil marks with the shop owner that bought & used this in circa 1896/1897. The individual I bought this set from gave me TWO of the ORIGINAL apothecary bottles with the shop owners name on them – they will be passed along to the new customer. Approximately 8 – 10 of the porcelain drawer pulls are missing/and/or broken. SIX of the oak sliding glass doors are devoid of glass – THE REST of the NUMEROUS glass doors & panels appear to have original, early wavy glass. Original golden oak varnish – with lots of carved detail on the pilasters and crown molding. The base cabinets on one side of the unit have marble base boards. The unit was set up in the store facing each other – one wall, each had a 36′ long unit. The cabinetry separates every 6′ and is tied together by crown molding pieces. You can see them separated on my warehouse driveway before I stored them inside. Ideally these could be reconfigured if 36′ of wall space was not available. Rare to find an original intact wall unit set like this – THESE RARELY come on the market. Serious inquiries only – PLEASE. Let me know if I missed something. Rare Antique Vintage Wooden Oak Machinist Apothecary 104 Drawer Cabinet

Our company, Hickok Waekon has been around since 1911. This cabinet is one of the original ones from back then. It’s an extremely rare wooden machinist’s cabinet, still solid and in good condition. The wood surface has some stains and chips, but overall it’s firm and strong. It’s solid wood with a wooden veneer cover on the top. The back of the cabinet and the inner parts of the drawers are metal. (See pics) It has 54 drawers. The cabinet is 4′ 1″ tall, 2′ 10″ deep and 1′ 3 across. The drawers are 10″ x 13″ x 2. Four of the drawers have the small metal handles missing, and 1 of them is off but still there, inside the drawer. The label on the top says 11. The number 11 is for one of the original gauges that was created and developed by Robert D. Hickok for his company, Hickok Electrical Instrument Company. Inside one of the drawers, a diagram of the Model 11 gauge was found. It was an AC Ammeter. The date of the diagram is June 3, 1932. Local pick-up only at Hickok Waekon in Cleveland, OH. Stunning wooden bank of drawers cupboard with a total of 114 drawers. Cabinet features double doors. Dark, nearly black, wood stain with brass hardware. Numbered tags are attached to the upper 108 square faced drawers. Total of 15 rows of drawers: (top to bottom). Rows 1 – 12 : drawers each measure approximately 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ x 4 1/2 (outside dimensions) and are arranged 9 per row. Row 13 : drawers each measure approximately 6″ x 3″ x 4 1/2 (outside dimensions) and are arranged 3 in the row. Row 14 : drawers each measure approximately 9 1/4″ x 3″ x 4 1/2 (outside dimensions) and are arranged 2 in the row. Row 15 : drawer measures approximately 18 1/2″ x 3″ x 4 1/2 (outside dimensions). Drawer 56 has chipped corner. Decorative panel cabinet doors swing open on smooth hinges and provide jelly cabinet appearance. Right door has latch to allow it to stay shut while left door is open. Originally locked but key is missing. It is likely that the lock hardware can be replaced. Doors stay shut without the lock. Perfect for farmhouse, early medical, primitive, steampunk, hardware store, or general store mood. Unit measures approximately 47″ x 22″ x 6 1/2. Back panel has holes in it where it appears to have been wall mounted. Item(s) comes as-is. ALL BUT 7 DRAWER DIVIDERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, THE DRAWERS THAT STILL HAVE THEM REMAINING STICK A LITTLE BIT.
