1950s PLANTSTAND Mid Century Danish Modern Plant Stand Vintage Eames 60s 70s Era

The main table is made of. Chipboard with a red Formica top with black coloured rim with a gold stripe. The table has four fixed wooden legs placed at a slight angle. There are two brass stems with three small steel black rods presenting a long rectangular platform in red Formica. Two additional smaller platforms in black and white Formica. All platforms have black coloured rims with a gold stripe. Beautifully restored with new Formica and rims. The plant-stand will sent dismantled to save on postal costs and prevent transit damage. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Height: 74cm /29.1. 1950s Mid Century Modern table Lamps atomic fiberglass shades RARE matched pair

This listing is for an amazing pair of mid-century modern table lamps with original fiberglass atomic shades. The lamps are circa 1950s and despite some minor issues they are in overall beautiful, vintage condition. The lamps are approximately 18.5 to 19 inches tall with the shade on. The shade is approximately 10 inches across the top. This is a 3-way lamp. The base lights up, the top lights up, and you can have them both on at the same time to set the perfect mood. The main body of each lamp is made of glass with a metal mount on the bottom. The bodies appear to be in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks or chips. The fiberglass shades are also in excellent condition with no holes or cracks. There are a some light stains in a few spots but they can be turned to the back… And I have not attempted to remove them by cleaning. The metal bases have some oxidation as photos show. I tried to show the worst of the worst on one of the lamps. Both lamps have some of the oxidation in places. Again, I have not attempted to clean the oxidation but I would assume it will not come off. The lamps look beautiful as they are, but it would be simple to remove the bases and spray paint them if you want them to look perfect. The only other issue is that while the cords work and are not brittle, they are original and if I kept the lamps I would replace them. I didnt do that because some purists like to do that themselves. In addition, I would use a gold-colored cord while the originals are white. So I will let lucky winner choose the color for themselves. One of the cords was cut and a new piece was spliced in. Again, it works fine but I would replace it. The base of the lamps are lit with a common nightlight 4 or 5 watt bulb. In the end, I really like the green bulb best and that is what I took photos with and that is what lucky winner will receive. I will leave those in. They are very simple to take out and replace as you see fit. I could go on and on about this pair of fine lamps. They are so incredibly beautiful! To find one of these lamps in this condition is a great find. But to find a pair is a rare opportunity indeed! 1940s Christian Dior New Look Formal Evening Dress Designer Black Silk LBD 1950s

1940s Christian Dior New Look Formal Evening Dress Designer Black Silk LBD 1950s. What an extraordinary dress! Strapless style is pleated and gathered around the central button panel creating beautiful draping around the hips. The front of the skirt gives an illusion of being a wiggle dress, with the back draping like a small train, but the skirt is completely full. The interior of the bodice has an attached underpinning with boning and mesh support. The interior of the skirt has a silk lining. Please be aware that this dress is quite small, it does not fit any of our dress forms or mannequins. The dress form shown has a bust of 32.5″ and a waist of 24.5″. Condition Details: Very Good – There is a small, slightly lighter, spot on the back of the skirt, wearer’s left. It is below the zipper, about 3 to the left of the center seam. It is very subtle and hides in the skirt well. The silk lining in the skirt is tearing and shattering. The original lining should be left intact if purchasing for a collection, but should be replaced if you are purchasing it to wear. We will leave this decision to the new owner. There is only one hanging strap remaining and it is broken and has been tied in a knot. These issues are minor and not obvious when worn. This dress presents beautifully! 1950’s Authentic Le Corbusier Marked STENDIG LC1 Basculant Chairs Thonet Cassina

D ROSE MOD, Inc. 1950’s Authentic Le Corbusier Marked STENDIG LC1 Basculant Chairs Thonet Cassina. Listed for sale is a pair of very special and original vintage LC1 Basculant Sling chairs. They were designed most notably by Le Corbusier, along with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. What makes this pair particularly special, is that both of them are marked with labels from STENDIG, the American importer for Le Corbusier’s designs in the 1950’s. During this time, the pieces were still produced by Thonet, who are consider the original and first authorized manufacturers. This pair is without doubt museum worthy. The markings in photos are faint, but its much easier to see the inscription of STENDIG in person. Do let me know if you’d like me to send other photos from other angles of these labels. This particular paid is found with the original frames and leather. The original arm straps are heavily worn, but will be included in the sale. I recently had the arm straps re-done in a robust natural leather, which will wear nicely like the seat and back, but can allow the original arm straps to be preserved. As the chairs are completely original, you can note that some of the chrome plating has flaked off on the bottommost part of one leg and exposed the brass underneath (a reflection of high quality manufacturing). There is significant wear to the leather as noted in photos, but they sit nicely and can most definitely still be used and enjoyed. The original springs are still on the chair, with two or so missing in total. The price listed is for both chairs. And I will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. For sale is an authentic vintage midsize 1950’s Rolex stainless steel 6420 Speedking with original dial. The watch is in a 30 mm stainless case, and will fit 17 mm straps. There are some light scratches on the case, and lugs but overall nice condition!! – see photos for condition please. The original dial is in nice aged condition. The lum has fallen out of the hands at some point – see photos for condition. The serial number of the watch is 54184. The model number is 6420. The model number is partially worn off the case but is still visible. The watch winds, sets, and runs. We do not know the service history on this vintage watch, and recommend it be serviced after purchasing. The watch comes exactly as photographed and described. Vintage 1950s Mint Green Prom Dress, Vintage 50s Full Skirt Party Dress

This stunning vintage 1950s party dress is made from a pretty mint green net fabric and features a slightly off-the-shoulder neckline accented with decorative embroidery and pearl beads. This dress is lined with a pale peach/beige acetate which provides a subtle contrast from underneath. The skirt has an additional layer of tulle in between for extra volume. The embroidery along the neckline matches the color of the lining, and the netting at the bust as well as the waistline is ruched for a flattering fit. Another highlight of this gown is the draped fabric falling from the waist to the hem in the back. This sash can either hang elegantly as is, or it can be used to tie into a bow at the front of the waist (see photos). Condition: This dress is in generally excellent condition with a couple minor flaws to note: there are a small hole in the sash at the back of the dress (see last photo) and one or two additional pinholes near the hem of the skirt. There are also a few areas along the hem with some minor catching in the fabric. None of these flaws are really noticeable when worn as most get lost in the folds of the fabric. We are a treasure trove of vintage clothing, accessories and revived furniture. Located in Minehead, we are also authorised stockists of Autentico chalk and lime paint, which is used on all our revival furniture. THE most beautiful 1950s handmade bridesmaid dress. This dress and matching button fronted cropped bolero over shirt are made from a beautiful pale yellow damask fabric. The dress is a strappy dress with a gentle v shaped neck line. The bodice is fitted and has a fully functioning zip fastening running down the left side seam. The skirt is fully circular, it really is incredible. The over shirt has short capped sleeves and a neat rounded collar. It is beautifully tailored to fit immaculately over the bodice if the dress. This shirt is button fronted, each button is fabric covered, in place and secure. This outfit is in immaculate vintage condition.
