Antique 1920s light lavender sheer georgette sleeveless dress. With ecru lace insert. Skirt of dress is pretty full. It might have had a matching slip at one time, and is ready to be embellished with some pretty flowers at the waist. The fabric has a tiny bit of give, but no openings, only pulls over head. It is shown on my size 6 mannequin. In excellent wearable condition, with the only flaw being the lace pulled way on one corner of insert. Other than the tiniest hint of yellowing under the arms, it’s. Bust: exactly 38, so slightly smaller to fit well. Waist: slightly dropped, exact is 32. Vintage 1920s Dress Beaded Silk Chiffon

Beads and silk chiffon over 100 years old usually fair poorly but this dress is an exception. It is in very good antique condition. There are some tiny flaws which I have gone over in the condition report above but nothing that takes away from it’s presentation or that cannot be fixed. The dress has beading front and back from the neck to the hips, and then again on the hemline. The skirt is full and two inches longer on each side, two inches shorter in the middle. The silk chiffon is a light yellow, and the beads are white and silver. There is no slip with the dress. It is sleeveless and just below the knee length. The dress is very pretty and totally wearable. The silk is strong with no shredding. The measurements of the dress taken laid flat and measured straight across are. Shoulder to shoulder 15 1/2″ – 16″. Shoulder to hem, longest at the sides, 42″ and middle of skirt 40″. Natural waist to hem, longest at sides 28″, shortest in the middle 26″. Antique Vintage 1920s Silk Beaded Flapper Dress Drop Waist Xsmall Repairs As Is

1920s era beaded flapper drop waist dress, PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION! Wonder where it came from! The dress has issues, so PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! It is a melon/dusty rose color silk satin type fabric and I believe it is lined with crepe. The beading is beautiful, there are sections of loose beading/missing a few beads. I tried my best to photograph any issues. The most significant issue are the underarms and sleeve area. I was actually thinking about making it sleeveless, which is a great option, but I will leave that up to you. Someone put a lot of time into mending the underarms. So that is the major issue. There are some stains on the upper back portion. Fabric is sturdy and the drawers can be worn. With a little TLC this dress will have much more life. It is an exquisite piece. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO MEASUREMENTS! I would call this an xsmall, but if you cut a slit down the back and add snaps of buttons it could accommodate a bigger size. But still on the small side. Vintage 1920s RED SILK DRESS Bust 35. For sale is this TRUE VINTAGE 1920s dress. It is for a bust 35″, wai st 36″, and measures 39 long. It has amazing style, with lovely tailoring and pleating on the skirt. This is in good/fair condition for the age. The silk is starting to separate at the shoulders and upper arm (I believe that this could be repaired/stabilized with backing as this is a heavier weight silk), and there is foxing on the tie and some soiling on the skirt band. Overall it is pretty sturdy and well made, and does display beautifully though! This is shown on a bust 32 mannequin. Thank you so much for looking! THESE FLAPPER ART DECO 1920S OVER DRESSES ARE RARE, HARD TO COME BY. THIS ONE IS IN GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. IT HAS SOME SMALL HOLES IN THE NET RANDOMLY SCATTERED IN THE FRONT AND A FEW IN THE BACK. THEY WILL NOT BE SEEN WHEN THE DRESS IS WORN OVER A BLACK SILK SHIFT OR OTHER COLORED FABRIC. THE SEQUINS APPEAR TO BE MOSTLY IN PLACE WITH POSSIBLY A TINY FEW MISSING. THE SHOULDERS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN REPAIRED AT SOME POINT WITH MORE BLACK FRENCH NET. IT LOOKS LIKE THE SHOULDERS WERE GATHERED TOGETHER AT THE TOP AT ONE POINT.
