This Art Deco /Waterfall complete (7) bedroom suite is one the best models ever manufactured. The combination of woods with the various inlays make for a beautiful contrast. The etched mirrors with amber accents really are a great addition. This suite would from be c1930’s to 40’s. I did not find a maker’s mark or label but I would attribute it to Stanley Furniture Co. Each piece is in great condition with the very minimal wear and use commensurate with the age. Full Size Bed: with side wood rails and slats. Head Board: 56’w x 42’h. Footboard: 56″w x 22″h. Dresser: has three full width drawers; 72″h x 47 3/4″ x22d. Armoire/Chifferobe: has a cedar lined closet on each side with a clothes bar hanger. The middle has a drop front secretary/desk with two lower drawers. Also there is a mirror in the middle compartment with a top drawer under it. The full piece is 41″w x 21 1/2″d x 69h. The interior desk is approx: 19 1/2″ d x 18″w x 11 1/2 h. The lid/do when down is approx. 29 1/2 from the floor. Vanity: 50″w x 65 1/2″h (with mirror) (without mirror 26’h). Samson Berman Chair sofa Mid Century Modern platform vintage lounge lamp suite

From History Never Repeats LLC, South Charleston, WV. Samson Berman studio, NY, USA, circa 1955. Integrated illuminated tandem chair platform, walnut, brass, lighting 121.5 wide x 41.5 deep and 101 inches tall. Chairs height 32.5″, arm height 22″ and seat height 17. A one-of-kind 10 foot floating platform in walnut, with two ample lounge chairs and striking solid walnut pole lamp with cut-out, custom designed and built by Samson Berman, circa 1955. The easy arm chairs have new cushioning and fabric. The 91 lamp has special clamps so it can be moved to any area along the ledge of the platform. Table and chairs: Table height 10″, lamp fixture 91″. Total 101″ The chairs are 32.5″ wide, 31″ deep and are 32″ tall from the floor. The seat height is 17. Arm Height is 22. The bow tie lamps are probably Italian or Lightolier production. Fully adjustable to almost any position or angle. They provide illumination to the entire piece as well highlighting the stem and ceiling depending upon your positioning. The platform is one integrated piece with the legs, lamp and chairs being detachable. A lovely alternative to a sofa and completely unique and a one of a kind piece for your clients. The chairs have not been affixed to the platform to either allow positioning by us at your request, or to have swivel mechanisms installed.
