Vintage Eames for Herman Miller 670/671 Rosewood Lounge Chair and Ottoman

Offered is a beautiful and classic Charles and Ray Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman models no. 670 and 671 in Brazilian rosewood and thick black leather for Herman Miller, circa mid-1970s. However, there are various scratches apparent on the ottoman, presumably from a cat, although none of them are deep. The seat of the chair, backrest, and arms show signs of normal use consistent with their age. Retains the maker’s label to the underside of the seat, and all of the original’Domes of Silence’ glides. Overall a gorgeous example of an iconic heirloom-level piece of furniture, suitable for any room in the home and any style of decoration. Vintage Kagan style lucite lounge chair and ottoman, very good original

This is a very stylish lucite lounge chair and ottoman in very good, all original, condition. I do not know the maker but it is in the style of Vladimir Kagan, Directional, Milo Baughman etc. The lucite is in very good condition. It is clear with no scratching, chips etc. The original green velvet is slightly faded but is clean and needs nothing. It is super comfortable! The chair has a 16 high seat. RARE 1960’s Vintage Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman 670 671 Ivory 2

D ROSE MOD, Inc. RARE 1960’s Vintage Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman 670 671 Ivory 2. Listed for sale is an original vintage 1960’s Herman Miller Eames lounge chair and ottoman. The set is in excellent condition and has beautiful Brazilian rosewood panels along with supple leather cushions. This chair has the notable and very rare custom-ordered ivory leather upholstery. Almost all of these early examples were black leather with a few brown examples around (and other colors very sparsely). They are soft and properly plump. No tears or rips are present on any of the cushions. Some wear and light scratches. As the ivory color fades somewhat. Unevenly, these cushions were professionally re-dyed back to their original color and matched to sample. To be clear, these are the original cushions and have not been re-upholstered. The rosewood shells are in excellent condition. Gorgeous original panels and light wear. The shock mounts appear to be holding strong and are in nice shape. The aluminum bases are in great condition. The feet move nicely, paint is all there, and aluminum looks great. Note: Another matching set is available if you are interested in two sets. The other example is earlier (dates to the mid 1950’s) but came from the same original family. I assume the second set was ordered a few years later to match, as the original leather color is identical. And I will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. Chair has a lot of “character” and shows wear from age and use. “Distressed” and worn and seat is “lightly distressed”. The leather has small splits near one button on one armrest and cracking.
