Vintage “Harvey Berin” Pink Silk Imported French Lace Prom Party Dress. Designed by Karen Stark. Size XS – please refer to measurements for proper fit. Waist measures 12 laying flat. Two complete dresses are worn layered. Ivory taffeta boned strapless dress is worn underneath. Skirt has attached tulle slip for added fullness. Pink satin ribbon at waist. Top dress is sleeveless with scoop neck. Ivory silk – 2 layers for the skirt. Top layer has pink lace applique. Bodice is sheer – strapless taffeta dress underneath. Silk skirt has a large pink satin bow hanging at waist between silk layers. Back zipper on sheer dress. Couple tiny spots on back of sheer layer (see photo). Some yellowing of lace on the bodice (see photo). No other damage to note. No rips holes or other stains. One of a Kind! Rare Antique Edwardian Victorian silk gown with battenberg lace and underskirt

There is a silk blouse, silk skirt, and matching cotton underskirt. The under skirt has no closures left and is longer in the back than in the front. The silk blouse and skirt are adorned with handmade lace. There are very few condition issues in all pieces. The weakest part is the center front top of the skirt, there are some holes there that need attention. There is no label in any of these pieces. The top portion of the blouse where there is sheer silk and horizontal stitch pleats also has issues. The silk skirt is a few layers, the undermost layer is fragile and about 85% intact. 39 length in front, longer in the back. 30 inch waist (no closures left). Vintage, 1970’s, Gunne Sax, maxi dress. Beautiful, cottage core, fabric. Sheer, long sleeves with a high, back collar. The dress zips in the back. Measurements: Bust line 32 inches. Shoulder to shoulder 14 inches. Sleeve length 24 inches. Length from shoulder to hem is 58 inches. Very nice, vintage condition. The left sleeve cuff is missing one button. They are supposed to have 3 buttons on each cuff. All the other buttons are there. No pet hair, smoke smells, perfume, new condition issues. E strive for five star service. We are human and may miss things from time to time. Vintage usually means “recycled” from a previous era. These items are rarely in mint condition because they have lived a previous life.
