This is a beautiful very rare set of 3 French Versailles style bronze wall sconces from around 1950/1960. Its a set with two double arm wall sconces and one single arm wall sconce. The double arm wall sconces have 8 pendalogue leaf crystals and the two crystal bobeches have each 5 teardrop drop cut crystals hanging. The single arm wall sconce have 4 pendalogue leaf crystals and the crystal bobeche have 5 teardrop cut crystals hanging. Also at the end off each arm off the wall sconces there are the front leafs decorated with a crystal flower. All crystals have a diamond cut crystal on top. The lamps have been rewired, but might need to be adjusted to your country’s standards. Light Bulbs are not included. Good condition with some very little surface wear to the bronze. Lamp candle covers are in good condition. All crystals are in good antique condition. (no chips or cracks). Please take a good look at all the pictures, for they are part of the description. The electricity cable and sockets have been renewed for international standards and it is ready to hang. Each chandelier has 6 lights, these can be equipped with standard commercial light bulbs or any other modern type E27. You can use 110 or 220 volts it makes no difference. A realistically cast horse head made of pieced and soldered metal, possibly zinc or spelter, and while the patinated surface is appropriate to its age the item is otherwise undamaged. Pair Of Candlestick Cassolettes – Circa 1810 – Pierre-Philippe Thomire. A very fine pair of attractive ormolu and bronze cassolette candlesticks dating to the French Empire period circa 1810. The chiseled ormolu body in the form of an urn flanked by patinated bronze zoomorphic handles resting on a cylindrical bronze body decorated with ormolu appliques depicting playful putti with chalice and bunches of grapes. The whole raised on a bronze square base decorated with engine turned ormolu collars. The pair are surmounted with a reversible chiseled ormolu bobeche decorated with an acorn finial. The reversible nature of the lid allows the top to be in the form of an urn lid or alternatively, a candlestick. Excellent casting, chiseling and engine turning throughout. These pieces are fine, important and luxurious. The pair are in overall very good condition with some signs of usage commensurate with age.
