Magnificent Brussels lace wedding gown with matching veil. The lace is hand made. Fine but strong cotton net is embellished with lengthy vines and flowers. The long vines are placed vertically creating an elegant slender look. Large lace blossoms are placed at the dress hem, in the bodice front and at the waist back. The bodice has wide cape collar, wide enough to cover the shoulders and upper arm. Note that originally the dress had a pale pink silk lining that is now gone. Only a pink silk strip is left, nestled behind the bodice horizontal seam. The veil made of a matching lace. Two large silk flowers attached to the pearl string were pinned to the veil. There are no holes, no stains, no underarm issues. A few tiny net links are broken. The hooks of the closure on the bodice back turned dark and should be changed. The silk flowers are rather wilted. The color of the dress is off white. The dress has not been dry cleaned; I leave this to the new owner. The result will be magnificent. Length – 56″ (front); 59″ (back).
