This beautiful watch has a classic Rolex cal. These 1950’s models are the “under valued” Rolexes in my opinion. It has been appreciating in value for decades and will only continue. Model number: 6565 serial number: 83xxx c. This Rolex is BEAUTIFUL. This watch will come with our sales receipt with model number, serial number, and authenticity noted. It will also come our Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Last week the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1030 movement with sweeping seconds hand was fully inspected, it is running perfectly. At that time the watch was lightly polished and ultrasonicaly cleaned. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it’s an average sized mens watch for the time period, it is smaller by todays standards, the current standard would be to call it midsized). The winding crown is a genuine Rolex yellow gold twin lock screw down crown with the Rolex logo. The crown screws down nice and tight. The case back shows no pitting, no improper tool marks, and no denting. The band is a non-Rolex brand alligator grain leather strap. The dial has never been refinished, cleaned, or touched. It is beautifully aged with a nice rich cream colored patina. It shows a few scratches and age marks. The pictures have been taken from every angle and represent the watch well, in fact they are 3x magnified, the dial is beautiful, and the watch is polished to a perfect shine. Any imperfections you see in the shine are just reflections the camera caught. This is a beautiful example of this model.
