This offering is for an antique mid 19th century tinsmith made lantern. The lantern features punched star decorations on all four sides of the top and the original wire rings to protect the valuable glass from breakage. The back side has the original removable tin panel in place which is something you almost never see. Also in included is the original pyramid shaped oil font which is currently fitted with a candle. The original burner is long gone but should be easy to replace. The condition is outstanding and the surface is untouched with only minor scattered wear and a bit of light surface rust.
