Vintage Wittnauer Chronograph men military wristwatch pilot. Width – 34.5 mm. Width with crown – 36 mm. Length – 41 mm. Depth – 11.5 mm. Crystal – 30 mm. The watch was serviced by a professional watchmaker recently. It has traces of use. Please see the photos for the assessment of watches. Works, keeps great time. This listing is for a vintage Wittnauer chronograph from the 1930’s -1940’s. Used by military personal especially pilots for configuration purposes on the dial. The dial has three colors: blue, black and red on metallic silver dial. The dial is a snail’s dial which is very collectible and sought after. The watch is left in it’s original vintage well preserved condition. For sake of historical integrity. Therefore the watch shows signs of normal vintage wear and aging on case and crystal with even aging on dial. The watch is not military assigned, but pilots especially considered using this chronograph over others due to the dial specifications for their crucial calculations.
