This is a stunning moody painting with a signature which seems to be’Canli’. We can’t seem to find any information about the artist. It has a fabulous original hand made gilt and painted wooden frame. Some wear to frame but adds to its timeworn charm. There is pencil writing to the back. Perfect to add character to any interior space. Shows signs of wear and tear as it is old and has been used, but only adds to its character. The hood has a large tassel. Front toggle closure with two small tassels on either side. Braided brown trim around the hood, front, and hem of the cape. Two small 2mm holes near the back hem that are hidden within the fullness of the cape. This fantastic piece has a sweep of 182. Perfect cape for those cold winter days. One Size Fits Most.
