They were passed down from my grandparents to my parents and then to me. While they are exceptional pieces, they do not have a place in my current home. The only signs of wear are on the wooden legs, which can easily be filled in with a brown wood marker or crayon, and seat pads due to 68 years of people sitting in them. The chairs boast a traditional wingback Georgian design, featuring high, curved backs that extend into the armrests, creating a cozy and enveloping seating experience. Chair has a lot of “character” and shows wear from age and use. “Distressed” and worn and seat is “lightly distressed”. The leather has small splits near one button on one armrest and cracking. Lovely Vintage Fully Buttoned Chesterfield Wingback Armchair Nice Upholstery

A good looking well made and comfortable chair, the frame is whats called a Georgian H frame, its because if you lay the chair on its back and look at the base it has the H formation. The upholstery is a lovely rich warm colour, its some kind of faux or bicast leather, very soft and seems thick and durable. Depth:- 81.5cm.
