This beautifully hand painted embossed porcelain tray from William Guerin & Co. Is a MAGNIFICENT PIECE OF ART that was hand-painted by Paul Millet. The kidney-shaped tray has a raised ruffled edge accented with Gold Gilt and features a stunning pattern of a pair of cherubs enjoying a bottle of wine on a hillside. The item was produced using an art pottery embossed porcelain technique, which adds to its unique and decorative finish. The tray is originally from Limoges, France, and was manufactured between 1850 and 1909. It weighs 3 pounds and has a length of 13 inches, a width of 9 inches, and a height of 1 inch. ON A RAISED PLINTH IN THE CENTER IS AN INTRICATELY CARVED RECLINING FIGURAL OF A PARTIALLY CLAD FEMALE, SURROUNDED BY AN ELEGANT MOTIF. THE LIGHT AND DARK SHADINGS IN THE WOOD FURTHER ENHANCE THE BEAUTY OF THE CARVING.
