Please Note: A friend of mine who is into these bikes recently took a look at the frame code / serial number and told me that this is actually from 1978. I posted a photo of the number, so you can do your own research. This bike is owned by my brother, who received it new as a Christmas gift in 1979. It has been in storage for the last 40+ years! The frame could use a nice polish, but it is very clean – nothing stripped or hogged out. I thought about replacing the st ickers, but figured it might be cooler to have the originals on it. (Stamped BMX Products Chatsworth, CA). Are in perfect shape, no dents or broken snowflakes. I even have the original reflectors. Forks, Seat, Crank, Sprocket, Pedals. The only replacement parts/upgrades are the aluminum handlebars, grips and a 4-bolt handlebar mount gooseneck and pad. These mods were made when the bike was new (for race preparation). I still have the original gooseneck and pad, so those will be included with the bike. Ago, I regreased and repainted the crank and cleaned and regreased the steering head and wheel bearings. I also replaced the tires and tubes, but they were allowed to sit flat, so the rear tire has some cracking. A very cool original ONE OWNER old school BMX bike from when BMX was just getting started.
