A stunning vintage 1920s cream silk velvet and gold lamé opera cape. » velvet is super soft and plush. » floral lamé is in great condition. » padded velvet around the collar and neckline. » bottom section of velvet is flowy with pointed ends of various lengths. No labeled size and no closure, should fit most sizes. Total length is 61. Overall good vintage condition for its age and the lamé is beautiful! The silk lining near the back of the neck is very torn and shredded but it does not affect the overall structure. There is one tiny hole on lower back section below the lamé and there are a few light stains here and there. See photos for closeups of these. Vintage 1960s SCHIAPARELLI Paris TURBAN Hat Gold LAME Small

This is a fabulous womans turban style hat made by the fashion house of Schiaparelli in a striking gold and blue metallic lamé. The hat has great form and style, as we would expect with a Schiaparelli design. The fabric is of exceptional quality and just glimmers under lighting – this is a real showstopper for anyone making a dramatic entrance! The opening measures 21 1/2 around, so this hat should fit a small sized head 6 3/4 to 6 7/8. Please measure your head with a cloth tape measure or take a piece of ribbon, mark where it finishes around the top of your forehead and you can then check by placing the ribbon measurement onto a ruler or yardstick to ensure fit. The Morgans logo on the label affixed to the sweatband began use during the 1950s and was changed in 1964 to conform more to the style of the Hudsons Bay logo – Hudsons Bay had bought Morgans in 1960. It is in excellent condition – this looks to have seen little use and was well stored over the years. This is a gorgeous hat in an iconic Schiaparelli form – sure to be noticed! VINTAGE GOLD LAME EVENING GOWN/ DRESS c. 1930s WEARABLE

This listing is for a knockout gold lame evening gown from the late 1930s- very Hollywood Glam! It’s a silk and metallic crepe woven with a raised design of leaves done entirely in gold bullion threads! The skirt is bias-cut to slink over the hips and swirl enticingly around the legs. It’s so very Bringing up Baby! The buttons are functional but there are no closures, It’s meant to be slipped on over the head. Make this fabulous gown part of your wardrobe! Please note it is SMALL. The sleeves are only 9 inches around the bicep at most. I advise installing an invisible zipper in the side seam to make getting it on easier. There are loops for a belt which is not present. Condition: There is some discoloration including under the arms, which is typical of vintage lame. It has not been cleaned, but with care the discoloration may disappear. There is also a metallic scent which again, is typical of vintage lame. Please ask any questions. The chest is about. Inches & the waist is about 22 inches. The hips are about 30 inches and the front length is about 37 inches. The sleeves are about 9 inches around the bicep. It’s super small!
