Original Thonet Bentwood mid-century modern Dining Chairs. We inherited these stylish chairs in 2019. They were pulled from dry storage, some were used in a cafeteria style setting during their lifetime. Some have seen more action than others but each has been cleaned, tightened, and lubricated with restoring oil. They look awesome, are very sturdy and surprisingly are quite comfortable – I think the wide seat bottom helps considerably. Each chair can vary in cosmetics, although every chair has been given attention. None of the wood is cracked or splintered. These chairs were used so they are not new quality but they are also not pieces of junk or falling apart by any means. Scratches should be expected but not gouges or chunks missing.
