This stunning vintage 1950s party dress is made from a pretty mint green net fabric and features a slightly off-the-shoulder neckline accented with decorative embroidery and pearl beads. This dress is lined with a pale peach/beige acetate which provides a subtle contrast from underneath. The skirt has an additional layer of tulle in between for extra volume. The embroidery along the neckline matches the color of the lining, and the netting at the bust as well as the waistline is ruched for a flattering fit. Another highlight of this gown is the draped fabric falling from the waist to the hem in the back. This sash can either hang elegantly as is, or it can be used to tie into a bow at the front of the waist (see photos). Condition: This dress is in generally excellent condition with a couple minor flaws to note: there are a small hole in the sash at the back of the dress (see last photo) and one or two additional pinholes near the hem of the skirt. There are also a few areas along the hem with some minor catching in the fabric. None of these flaws are really noticeable when worn as most get lost in the folds of the fabric.
