This Vintage Steamer Trunk was built in Baltimore, Maryland U. A in the early 1900s. It was constructed with durable black leather and lined with beautiful brass fixtures. The interior houses a functional clothing rack with the ability to protrude and retract (Included are the original natural wood hangers, 7 total). Opposite the clothing rack are two gorgeous removable royal blue drawers. These drawers have black leather straps that serve to secure its contents and fasten it to the trunk during travel or storage. The black leather exterior is in good condition with no large rips/defects. The brass fixtures have developed a lovely patina over the years. The brass side locks that hold close the trunk work perfectly. The original lock is still in place but the key has been lost, so the locking mechanism has been bypassed to freely open the trunk. One of the leather fasteners that serve to hold the top drawer in place is missing the button that locks it in place. Please note the expected wear to the exterior from normal use and time.
