Listed for sale is a rare and beautiful Florence Knoll rosewood and marble credenza/sideboard/file cabinet. With regard to condition, the piece is excellent cosmetically. Door fronts are in terrific shape with only light wear noted. Sides are excellent also. The back is finished and rosewood also. Cabinet measures 37.5 inch W 18 inch D 25.5 inch H. Wood: Edges are crisp and grain is lovely. The inner parts of the cabinet are oak. The oak is still strong and stable, with joinery holding up beautifully. The inner frame of the cabinet is also in excellent condition. Metal: The base of this cabinet is chromed steel. The base is shows some wear, but is in nice shape overall. Original hardware is still present. Marble: The marble is in excellent condition for its age. It has been beautifully re-polished as well. Just a perfect, high quality vintage Omega! Case is excellent; 3 piece, 3 5mm across the head, perfectly proportioned lugs and bezel. Steel screw back with excellent, crisp hippocampus logo (see pic). Yellow gold TOPPED -this is far far thicker than an electroplate. Dial is (absolutely) original; marked: OMEGA / AUTOMATIC / SEAMASTER and. This is an unusual marking. The early 60s saw the switch from Radium to varying levels of radioactive tritium. It is interesting to note that. SWISS MADE is centered under the 6:00 marker, and the T is asymmetrically off to the right. If anyone can explain this, Ill gladly add it to this description. Dial has light speckling, hard to see without looking very closely or magnification. It also features tall, gold applied markers, date surround, and OMEGA logo. From History Never Repeats LLC, South Charleston, WV. Samson Berman studio, NY, USA, circa 1955. Integrated illuminated tandem chair platform, walnut, brass, lighting 121.5 wide x 41.5 deep and 101 inches tall. Chairs height 32.5″, arm height 22″ and seat height 17. A one-of-kind 10 foot floating platform in walnut, with two ample lounge chairs and striking solid walnut pole lamp with cut-out, custom designed and built by Samson Berman, circa 1955. The easy arm chairs have new cushioning and fabric. The 91 lamp has special clamps so it can be moved to any area along the ledge of the platform. Table and chairs: Table height 10″, lamp fixture 91″. Total 101″ The chairs are 32.5″ wide, 31″ deep and are 32″ tall from the floor. The seat height is 17. Arm Height is 22. The bow tie lamps are probably Italian or Lightolier production. Fully adjustable to almost any position or angle. They provide illumination to the entire piece as well highlighting the stem and ceiling depending upon your positioning. The platform is one integrated piece with the legs, lamp and chairs being detachable. A lovely alternative to a sofa and completely unique and a one of a kind piece for your clients. The chairs have not been affixed to the platform to either allow positioning by us at your request, or to have swivel mechanisms installed. Table has a long rectangle shape with dovetailed ends and tapered legs. Table measures 50″ long x 18 5/8″ wide x 14 1/2 tall.
