ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1959 #2 PONYTAIL BARBIE. Includes Early Original TM Stand Made from #1 Two-Pronged Stand. Original Swimsuit, Sunglasses and Shoes. Up for sale is an original 1959 #2 Ponytail Barbie. Number 2 Ponytails are actually more rare than #1 Ponytail dolls since they were made for a very short time before the #3 began production. She is a GORGEOUS doll with a soft, beautiful face with original facepaint. She displays beautifully and has an early TM stand made from a #1 two-pronged stand. You can see where the holes would have been drilled for the two-pronged stand. The stand has a couple of chips along the rear edge which you cannot see from the front. This blond beauty has very nice hair and a nice body with a perfect stance. She has a very small darker spot on her left forearm, and some prick marks of some kind on her right arm and hand.
